The film re-cut so each dress shows what makes it special: Velvet Dusk opens on its criss-cross open back before she turns to face us, and the maroon halter dress arrives as a sharp shadow on the white wall before she steps in. Unmute for sound.
The same five models and jewel-tone looks, cut as a fashion film: a walk relay toward the camera across five places, the hem and feet in motion, a quick turn of the head, a burst of all five faces on the beat, and a slowed final walk, set to an original track made for this cut. Unmute for sound.
Five of our models, each in a jewel-tone look chosen against her skin tone and undertone, from three Sri Lankan brands: RV-M07 in the GFLOCK One Shoulder Maxi Dress (burnt orange), RV-M09 in Avirate's Velvet Dusk (deep purple), RV-M11 in the GFLOCK Halter-Cut Bodycon Midi Dress (maroon), RV-M10 in the Kelly Felder Verve Wrap Bodysuit (black) with the GFLOCK Slit Detailed Midi Skirt (off-white), and RV-M12 in the GFLOCK Cowl Neck Sleeveless Top (rust) with the GFLOCK Wrap Skirt (black). One slow moment each, then the end card with every price.
RV-M11 in GFLOCK's Halter-Cut Bodycon Midi Dress in maroon, against a sunlit white wall. Her shadow arrives first; she walks along the wall and then away, so the close fit and the closed back with its zip show as she moves; then she turns and looks back. Made from scratch by a fresh session that had only the studio's own guides and a one-paragraph brief.
A short story told in motion: RV-M09 walks away down a lamplit hotel corridor in Avirate's Velvet Dusk, so the criss-cross open back is all we see; the skirt swings with each step; she slows at the last lamp, turns, and only then gives us her face. Written, directed, shot and checked as one film from a single brief, with the story approved before anything was made. Unmute for sound.

The same look and story re-made on our own pipeline, then sharpened and colour-graded: each shot is brought back to its approved light, one warm look runs through the whole cut, and her skin tone and both garments' colours are held to the product photos. Now with an original track that lands its closing chime on the sunglasses moment. Compare it with the first version below.
RV-M07 in a sexier, more confident look from two Sri Lankan brands: the Avirate Crimson Mesh cami (LKR 3,980) and the GFLOCK Slit Detailed Midi Skirt in off-white (LKR 6,100), with black sunglasses, gold hoops and black strappy heels. It opens on her face, plays through the middle (a touch of the strap, a hip shift, a head turn, the slit opening as she walks) and ends as she lowers her sunglasses with one finger and holds the look. A close-up from Avirate's own photo shows how sheer the mesh really is. Silent for now.
Three of the recurring models as friends in one bedroom, each in her own outfit from Sri Lankan brands. They open their parcels together, each holds up her top, wears her look and shows its detail, then they stand together and share a laugh. Each product is named as it appears, and the end card lists all nine with prices, one column per friend. RV-M01: Mimosa frill top, GFLOCK navy bias skirt, Arienti black straw crossbody. RV-M02: Arienti Selina linen top, Mimosa printed bias skirt, Arienti raffia bag. RV-M03: Arienti Noah linen top, GFLOCK low waist linen pant, Arienti square satchel. A test, not a live post: check stock before posting.

A haul-style story in one bedroom: the top arrives, she holds it up, pairs it with the skirt from another brand, then wears the full look. Mimosa frill top, GFLOCK navy bias skirt, Arienti black straw crossbody. Each product is named as it appears, and the end card lists all three with prices. A test, not a live post: check stock before posting.
Two new looks with the same model, setting, light and camera move: a 5-second walk and half-turn, then the end card. Look 3: Mimosa frill top, GFLOCK navy bias skirt, Arienti black straw crossbody. Look 4: Arienti Selina top, Mimosa printed bias skirt, Arienti moon raffia bag. Several items were sold out at the time, so these are tests, not live shop-the-look posts.

Detail-led cut: her face, then a hand smoothing the linen; close-ups of the weave and buttons; the bag clasp; a hem-level walk; the full look; then the end card with listing prices. A and B are identical except for the first two seconds, to test which hook holds viewers longer.

Five recurring models, each original and fictional, cast to reflect the customers Sri Lankan brand imagery often leaves out: deeper skin tones, curls, larger sizes and older women. RV-M01, RV-M02 and RV-M03 are approved and in use; RV-M04 and RV-M05 are options awaiting approval, with the recommended pick named under each set.

Team feedback asked for models who look a bit more attractive while staying real. Research on attraction points to things we can style rather than change in the face: a confident open smile, eye contact, an open stance, a warm healthy glow and warm, flattering light. Lighter skin and slimmer bodies don't help: in a 2025 study, South Asian women were more likely to buy when the ad showed a South Asian model than a White one. Plain reference photos switch all of that off on purpose, so they undersell every model.

Mid-twenties, warm golden-brown skin with a natural glow, long glossy black hair, soft glam makeup, a confident full smile. Cast for going-out, party and occasion pieces, and kept visibly different from the other five.
